The Next Calendar

Calendar is the time scale. There had been so many calendars throughout the history. People always counted time in days, months and years with respect to a major event or incident in the past. That way there was no standard calendar. (even today we have people says that a fellow was born just about an year after the death of Indira Gandhi or something like that). Today we have a standard calendar for which the major event of reference that occurred in the history is the birth of Lord Jesus. And it has remained the major incident in the human history till date. Not sure how long this calendar lasts but there's going to come a new calendar after this. I think the next major event that will change the calendar will be Lord Jesus' second coming when the people will count time for 1000 years under the 1000 years' rule.

Wanna Test?

Are you a person who wants to test if Jesus can perform a miracle by healing an AIDs or a Polio affected person so that you can confirm Jesus to be God? Here's what Jesus says: ...,  “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. ” ... - Matthew 16:2-4 NKJV As long as you keep testing Jesus, I am sorry, you will not see a miracle, at least to confirm Jesus as God. His miracles are not for his enemies but for those who submit to Him. But still He left us a miracle so that we can believe in Him. What is the sign of Jonah? If you look at the above statement in Chapter 12 we see the answer as follows: ..., “An evil and adulterous...

WHY MOURN ON A GOOD FRIDAY?

For those who regret that Jesus died: From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” --Matthew 16:21‭-‬23 Jesus rebuked Peter because it was Jesus' plan to suffer, die and to rise on the third day but Peter was talking against it. For those who weep for Jesus died: Even there were people who were mourning when Jesus was carrying the cross. Read it below as it is written: And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, “ Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for your...

Happy New Year

Every January 1st indicates that an year has passed away and we are into another. Everybody desires and wishes everybody else that the new year would be better than the previous one. This is done with an intention to have a better experience in life all the time. The past year had been better for somebody and even worse for somebody else. But still both of them wish and desire the new year to be better than the previous one. It's the same with God as well. God also want us to get better and better in our Spiritual life all the time. In the past we committed so many sins and whenever we ask God for forgiveness, He not only forgives us but also expects us not to repeat them again. Now as we desire and wish each others a happy earthly life in the times to come, shall we have the same desire for a joyful spiritual life as well? Think of that one sin that you've been repeating again and again in the past; and make a commitment to leave that now. Praise be to God... And wish you a v...
